iCloud Mail forwarding setup

Create your iCloud Mail forwarding rule in the web app so the rule runs server-side.

Important

If you configure a local Apple Mail client but not the iCloud web rule, the rule may never run server-side.

We recommend completing forwarding and rule setup on desktop. Some providers do not expose these controls in their mobile apps.

1. Create the rule on the web

  1. Sign in at iCloud.com/mail.
  2. Open the settings menu and go to Rules.
  3. Create the forwarding rule there.

2. Add your first rule

  1. Click Add a Rule.
  2. Choose a condition such as "is from" or "is addressed to".
  3. Choose Forward to as the action.
  4. Enter your Muno Brief forwarding address and save.
  5. Confirm the next matching newsletter is routed correctly.

Strong first rules

  • Use a specific newsletter sender to start.
  • Avoid multi-condition rules until you have a working baseline.
  • Test from the web rule interface assumptions, not from local client behavior.

Notes

  • iCloud settings are easiest to verify from a desktop browser session.
  • If a rule seems correct but nothing forwards, re-check that it was created in iCloud web mail.
