Fastmail forwarding setup

Use Fastmail filters and rules to send a copy of selected newsletters into Muno Brief.

Important

Fastmail can send a copy to your Muno Brief address, which is often the cleanest setup for newsletter routing.

We recommend completing forwarding and rule setup on desktop. Some providers do not expose these controls in their mobile apps.

1. No separate registration step

  1. Open Settings, then Filters & Rules.
  2. Create the rule directly from the Fastmail rules interface.

2. Send your first copy

  1. Click Create Rule.
  2. Add a condition such as "From" or "Recipient is".
  3. Choose the action "Send a copy to".
  4. Enter your Muno Brief forwarding address.
  5. Save the rule and check the next matching issue reaches your inbox archive in Muno Brief.

Strong first rules

  • Start with one publication and check the copied message arrives with the content you expect.
  • Use sender-based rules whenever the sender address is stable.
  • Keep the first rule simple before layering additional conditions.

Notes

  • Fastmail is useful when you want to keep the original message untouched while still routing a copy.
  • If a newsletter rotates sender aliases, test with a subject rule before expanding broadly.
